MSK Podiatry is a specialised branch of general podiatry that requires several years of postgraduate academic study and practical experience to develop expertise in diagnosing and managing toe, foot, and ankle pain, injuries, dysfunctions, and degenerative conditions.
An MSK podiatrist provides diagnoses through comprehensive consultations, medical history reviews, and thorough examinations. These may include supplementary in-house diagnostic ultrasound as well as further review or referrals for MRI, X-ray, or other imaging when necessary.
